REF: Installation of AHRS

There is a great D.I.Y. video on YouTube as to how to install the chip.

I also went there to figure out how to re-flash the chip to get the latest software. While the instructions HERE have been tremendously helpful, it is also nice to be able to SEE how it is done and be able to STOP the video where one might have questions or to listen to clarifying comments on the video.

I'd recommend this to anyone installing hardware or software  - it is pretty much ALL THERE if you look hard enough.

(This is a photo of using SV and seeing TRAFFIC at 12 o'clock showing the GREEN or starboard side of the aircraft passing left to right in front of me, almost at the same altitude in a river valley.  Very interesting.)

Weather is horrible here in PA today, so I "flew on the couch" with my IFly and synthetic vision to become acquainted with the system...

Nice to be able to "pan" around and see how things look.

I put myself above and in between traffic to see how it would look with SV as the backdrop - very interesting.

Here are some photos. (Q: Are folks seeing these photos and are they helpful or more confusing?)

My hope is that people see someone like me, a computer novice, manage and fly with this incredible system!

Here I am flying ABOVE my home and trailing traffic at 11-12 o'clock low...

Here are TWO targets flying WEST out ahead of me with SV in the background - very cool!  I am actually entertained by this even on my couch!
