I don't know if this is a good idea or a bad idea. (Like speed dial, it's convenient, but then you forget phone numbers and don't know what to do when speed-dial (or iFly) isn't around.)
Any value in iFly offering custom pop up check lists based on time or distance parameters? For example, I usually do a GUMP check about 5 miles out from my destination airport. (Fixed gear, so it's not as critical nor as repeatable as when flying Retractable.)
But what if I forget? Should iFly offer a feature such that, when you're within x user selectable miles from Destination (like, 2 miles), a one time check box pops up asking if you completed your pre-landing check list? (One time so that it doesn't nag during T'n'G's.)
It would be something like the "Did you close your flight plan?" box that sometimes pops up at the end of a flight.
