Yes, I am requesting a notification be sent to a device separate from the iFly device (i.e., my iPhone, iWatch, or my iPad's (or designated Android device) text message app. I want the reminder to follow me AFTER I park my plane so that I am more likely to make the call to close my flight plan.

This may or may not be feasible, but it doesn't hurt to ask!
iFly cannot send a message to another device unless it has a cell connection or WIFI connection and is still turned on. If anything, I would prefer a pop-up message on my iFly device or iPad, etc. that shows up when I am approaching my destination and again just after landing. If talking to ATC or a tower, I cancel in the air.

Why not program your phone to remind you at a certain time if you can't remember? Or, send yourself a text message.

If you're filing the plan with iFly (and how else would iFly know you've got a plan open?) then you have set up a LMFS account, because that's what iFly uses to file the plans.
Sooo...
You can log into the LMFS website and peruse around until you find the screen where you can set up alerts. It's been a long time since I did it so I don't remember specifics. But now every time I file, I get an email that a flight plan has been filed for my tail number. And then another email when the plan is opened. And then another email when it is closed. Additionally, LMFS sends txt's if TFR's, AIRMET's, etc. pop up along the route.

flightaware.com is another method to get emails and possibly txt messages. You can put in a tail number, and you'll get an alert when the aircraft moves. When I land, one of the first things I do is check my phone for txts/emails (doesn't everybody?) and the piled up LMFS/flightaware messages could be a trigger to close the plan.

It's not an alert from iFly, but it basically does the same thing you're asking for with the added benefit of TFR/SIGMET/etc. alerts. OR, you could always set an alarm on your phone for 20 minutes after expected arrival time.

As for the original post, I like the idea. A reminder to get the weather, listen to local traffic on comm 2, set the radios for approach/tower/ground/unicom/ATIS/fbo, select a runway, notify the FBO that you're xx miles/minutes out (they'll often pull the rental car onto the ramp for you), select an approach, finish the sandwich, stow the loose gear, brief pax for the arrival/isolate pax from the pilot on the intercom, set fuel to fullest tank, and a hundred other things you might want to be reminded to do.

... a message to go home with your address and a Google map route.

My request remains legitimate - a process based on an iFly device's awareness of arriving at a designated location is not based on ETA. Of course I can continue to use post it notes on my car's steering wheel. But when unexpected events distract pilots, required calls to close the flight plan can easily be forgotten. A location-based reminder could be useful.

Meanwhile, if I forget the location of my house, I assume that I will forget the location of my plane (problem solved).

AGAIN, your iFly device would have to have a cell connection or WIFI connection to the internet to send a message to another device. It's not going to happen.

Now, if you always run iFly on your cell phone, it would be possible for it to send a text message to you upon landing and connecting to a cell tower. Or, if you use an iPad with a cellular connection, it could send you a text message upon landing. I doubt that would be something AP would address.

Jeff's suggestion to file through LMFS using your device seems like the best suggestion.
