Training

Real-world aviation tools for students, instructors, dispatch programs, and flight schools.

Student pilot flight training

Students

Learn with the same kind of EFB tools you will use throughout your flying career. Plan flights, study weather, review charts, understand airspace, brief airports, and build strong cockpit habits from your very first lessons.

CFIs

Keep the focus on flying while giving students practical experience with flight planning, weather decisions, airspace, procedures, traffic awareness, and the everyday workflow of modern electronic flight bags.

Dispatch Training

Teach IFR planning by making students do the work. iFly Dispatch gives students hands-on experience with routes, weather, charts, procedures, navigation data, and fuel planning without automating away the decisions they need to learn.

Flight Schools

Give students and instructors a common EFB platform across your training program. Support primary, instrument, advanced, and dispatch training with software students can continue using long after graduation.

Train With the Tools Pilots Actually Use

Good aviation training is more than learning where to tap on a screen. It is learning how to gather information, evaluate conditions, make decisions, and safely execute a flight.

iFly EFB brings the complete planning environment together so students can practice those skills in the classroom, in a simulator, and in the airplane.

Supporting Every Stage of Training

Real-World Planning

Work with actual airports, routes, airspace, procedures, charts, navigation data, and flight-planning tools.

Current Weather & Data

Teach students to evaluate real aviation information including weather conditions, airport data, and current charts.

Classroom to Cockpit

Use the same familiar platform for ground instruction, flight planning, simulator sessions, and actual flying.

VFR Through IFR

Support everything from a student's first cross-country to advanced instrument and professional aviation training.

Designed for Learning

A straightforward interface helps students understand aviation concepts instead of spending their lesson learning complicated software.

Scales With Your Program

iFly can support one student and one instructor or a complete flight school, university, or dispatch training organization.

“I really love the iFly app. It is very intuitive and extremely easy to work with in the cockpit. The screen layouts are selectable and customizable. ADS-B In works great too. I've used ForeFlight in the past, but I really prefer iFly. In addition to the app, you get responsive customer support, timely modifications and upgrades, and fantastic customer service. The app runs on multiple platforms, which is a huge plus for me.”

Common Questions

What devices does iFly EFB run on?

iOS, Android, and Windows. Students and instructors can use the tablet or phone they already own, and a school does not need to standardize on one brand of hardware.

Will a student need a different app after the checkride?

No. iFly is a complete EFB from the first lesson, with VFR and IFR charts, procedures, filing, and planning tools. The same app carries a pilot through instrument training and beyond.

Can students try iFly before buying?

Yes. Start with the free trial, then apply for student pricing once you are enrolled in training.

How many devices does a Dispatch license cover?

Each student license covers up to two devices on the same operating system, so a student can plan on a laptop in class and review on a tablet at home.

Does iFly work with an electronic logbook?

iFly exports recorded flight trails to MyFlightBook, a free cloud logbook that tracks totals, currency, endorsements, and progress toward a rating.

How does a flight school get set up?

Send us your school, the roles you need to cover, and an approximate seat count through the quote form. Our team will follow up with pricing and a walkthrough.
