iFly syncs a set of user files across the devices on an account. Set them up once on the school account and every student and instructor device picks them up:

Aircraft profiles with the performance and weight and balance numbers for your fleet, so students plan with the right airplane.
Checklists loaded from your own plain text files, so everyone runs the school flow.
Custom waypoints for practice areas, reporting points, and local landmarks that are not on the sectional.

An individual iFly subscription is $94.99 a year, and fleet seats cost less. A year of the EFB is less than one hour of dual instruction, which makes it easy to put on the required equipment list.

Synthetic vision and terrain in the base tier

Synthetic vision, terrain and obstruction data, and airport diagrams are included with every VFR seat. They are not a paid add-on.

No stripped-down student edition

Students get the full app from the first lesson. When they graduate they can continue on their own subscription with the same interface, profiles, and habits.

A free logbook for every student

Recorded flights export to MyFlightBook, a free cloud logbook with endorsements, instructor signing, and progress tracking toward each rating. No per-student logbook fee.

You get a quote, then a fleet account with your seats. We help you load aircraft profiles, checklists, and practice-area waypoints so they are ready before the first student signs in.

Step 3

Students and instructors sign in

Each person installs iFly on their own device, signs in with the school account, and syncs. Seats move to new students as classes turn over.

The IFR dispatch training platform, with up to two devices per student on one operating system. Runs alongside a fleet account or on its own.

Dispatch Details

Accredited aviation degree programs and Part 141 schools: ask about program pricing when you request a quote. Students buying on their own may qualify for student pricing.

Questions Schools Ask

Can we mix iPads, Android tablets, and Windows PCs?

Yes. A fleet account is not tied to one platform. The dispatch lab can run on Windows while the flight line uses whatever tablets students own.

What happens when a student graduates?

Their seat goes back to the school for the next student. The graduate can buy an individual subscription and keep flying with the same app.

How do we get our aircraft into every student's app?

Build the aircraft profile once, including weight and balance stations, on the school account. It syncs to every device signed in to that account, along with checklists, custom waypoints, and instrument layouts.

Do we need the IFR add-on for every seat?

No. Add IFR data to the seats used by instrument students and instructors. Primary students stay on the VFR tier.

Is Dispatch part of the fleet account?

Dispatch is its own program, priced per student per year. Schools run it with or without a fleet account for the flight side.

Can instructors try it before we commit?

Yes. Any instructor can start a free trial on their own device today. Many schools run a trial with two or three instructors before quoting the whole program.
