Replay the Lesson, Don't Just Talk About It

In the airplane, the moving map and instrument panel let you watch the student's track, altitude, and speed as they fly without taking over the controls or the conversation. iFly also records a flight trail for every flight. Back on the ground, replay it at actual speed or faster and watch the ground track, altitude, and speed unfold. A wide pattern, a drifting hold, or a late descent is easier to fix when the student can see it.

If an ADS-B receiver was connected, you can replay the traffic picture too and talk through what the student saw and what they missed.
