Time of Flight is a very helpful instrument (helps confirm fuel burn) and am very thankful for the recent change to not automatically reset.

However, I have failed several times to reset the instrument before the next flight and wound up with a reading that has no meaning. Is it possible to a) reset the clock at power-off? b) ask the reset question on the disclaimer screen? c) any other solution?

Thank you for a great product.

One idea for c) Have the timer reset if the iFly is off for some significantly long period of time that would preclude the timer being reset as a result of a power interruption.

C and Mike,

Last I was informed, the Flight Timer will reset if the unit is powered off for a day. We wanted it to pause or retain time for lunch stops, fuel stops, etc, but allow you to easily Reset it if you do not need it to retain time. If it is left off until the next calendar day, it will automatically reset. I'll pass this along up the ladder. I hope this helps.

Where is your check-list?

Could the flight timer be added as an instrument (small and movable to where I want it)? I'd like to be able to press the timer display to start, stop, and reset the timer. I would like to use the timer when I am timing a hold and when timing a non-precision approach.
