Below is a crop from a full resolution screen shot on my tablet of a page from iFly about SID's.

Notice the fonts are a little blocky and a little difficult to read.

Microsoft addressed this with Clear Type fonts. Steve Gibson did some research on this. https://www.grc.com/cleartype.htm and implies that anyone can use Clear Type technology. (That it was prior art from Apple II days.)

Whatever, I suggest some kind of font smoothing for high res tablets. (Or I suppose higher res scan of the SID/STAR's?)

Mike, these are FAA images, not actual device rendered text. Kind of like the Plates, Charts, etc... the only way to sharpen them is to use higher res images, whick will dramatically increase file sizes.

We do have it on our wishlist to use clearer fonts for device rendered fonts as well. I've noted this on our wishlist too. Thanks for the feedback.
