Always looking for ways to optimize iFly, I was thinking about the History button.

Does anyone use it in flight? What for?

I've never used it for anything, let alone thought about using it.

(Maybe it's a way to quick toggle between an IAP and an enroute?)

If it has no use, then perhaps we could put a better button there instead.

If it has a use, then might I suggest putting the most recent history at the top of the stack, the way we're used to seeing Tweets and blogs and stuff?

I use the history button to retrieve the TAC map.

Do you mean as opposed to going to the Map Mode button on the left and selecting TAC?

If yes, what is the difference between calling it up via History?

Thanks.

I use it as a kind of a "favorites" button, a feature that my old G 295 had. I wish iFly had a user defineable favorites list feature.

Can you please explain more how you use it as a "favorites" button and if you use it in flight.

That is, you're on your way to somewhere. Do you click "favorites" and suddenly head off in a different direction?

If the History button doesn't get used in flight, but more on the ground, then I'm wondering if it should be a button on the front panel.
