I don't use it either. I'm waiting for an approach chart 'container' to store the charts I need as part of my flight. Hopefully, with an option to not display them on the moving map.

While conducting practice approaches the other day, the ADS-B traffic was working great....I had so many targets I could not read some important text on the approach plate.

Can you please explain more how you use it as a "favorites" button and if you use it in flight.
I use it both in flight and on the ground. I find one of my previously visited airports information, click it, click flight planning, click direct to.

That is, you're on your way to somewhere. Do you click "favorites" and suddenly head off in a different direction?
Yes, I may use history to change route to another destination.

If the History button doesn't get used in flight, but more on the ground, then I'm wondering if it should be a button on the front panel.
I would be happy to see a user defineable favorites button in it's place

Do you mean as opposed to going to the Map Mode button on the left and selecting TAC?

If yes, what is the difference between calling it up via History?

Thanks.

Mike

All I see when using Map mode is VFR, Vector, Instruments, and the IFR low/high. I don't see TAC anywhere except in the History button.

It's the "Select Map" button that brings up a choice of WAC, Sectional, or TAC.

We are seamlessly switching between VFR Charts now. As mentioned in the post, please tap the Switch Maps icon in the lower left above the Menu button. This is allow you to see the Chart Types relevant for that area. You can force the map to one of those mode, ie TAC. Let us know if you have any other questions. Enjoy.
