I doubt it. I've also been known to leave out a few entries in my logbook. It will be a welcome feature, I'm sure.

Oliver; I keep an aircraft time log in my Arrow and record dates, Hobbs time and Tach time for every flight. I also note if oil was added to keep track of consumption. When I an finished with recording a flight I take a picture with my phone and enter it into my log book when I have time.

If you want I can send the spreadsheet I print out to put in the aircraft log.

As for wish list items I have been wanting to create a fuel tracking log. I have a JPI 700 EDM and it does a great job of tracking fuel used and fuel remaining but it doesn't do so by tank. I used a fuel card I put together and write down how much fuel I used and subtrac from the tank I was on and from the total, then do the same for the next tank.. Would be great to have a place to put fuel used and which tank and have the iFly keep a running total of fuel remaining in each tank and total.

Thats my story and I'm stikking to it.

Tim,

Your suggestion with the time log sound like a great idea, I we should probably do the same.
When we picked up our 172, we even forgot to write down tach- and hobbs time...
Since we are using a Nexus 7 as the main GPS, I should probably just start an Google Sheet into which I enter the all the relevant details before and after every flight, as well as the amount of fuel and the oil we added. Plus, I need to talk to one of the two pilots (myself) to be more disciplined...

Until iFly adds the killer pilot log features, in the meantime I highly recommend MyFlightbook. Runs on Android or iOS. and accessible via the Web. Push a button when you start the engine, and it'll record your takeoff and landing times, populate the airport codes, record your GPS track, and at the end of the flight you press a button to stop the engine and then enter the ending Hobbes and/or Tach times (which get propagated to the starting time fields of the next flight record). It'll do the math to autopopulate your filght time, if you want it to.

Lots of custom fields for tracking just about any metric you want for your flight, including maintenance milestones. It'll track various currency requirements (IFR, day/night pax carrying, etc.)

And it's free: http://www.myflightbook.com/

Any progress on flight logging improvements being considered? For me, this would make my 740 complete.
