I'm sure you realize this but the Apple market is filled (saturated?) with good flight Apps. The (bigger) Android market is not. Having an iFly App for Android users seems like a great idea. I hope you run with that!

For $20 I would probably add it to my wife's iPad2, which is WiFi only, so would need an external GPS. She likes to keep tabs of where we are. I use to keep the Loran receiver programed for that purpose, but don't have that anymore. If I get a iPad that would be the 3rd device.

Ifly is one of of a few apps that support terrain currently (not synthetic vision, yet) for Andriod. I have installed Garmin Pilot (advantage duat weather/flight planning integration, it does e6b calcs for you) Avilution (most streamlined and quick interface) Avare(free!) Naviator (don't care for this one) and Ifly beta.

I use Ifly because it's the best terrain option. Synthetic Vision would be a killer feature outclassing anything else on the Andriod platform currently. I'm looking forward to a non-Beta Ifly (has a few bugs)!

One feature I would like soon is an AGL panel near the terrain profile, that would be a very nice feature in addition to the terrain highlights.

Lee,

Good feedback. Synthetic Vision is on our development list for this year. We have also been toying with an AGL instrument or call out, but have not had much demand for it. I'll revisit this in our next feature meeting. Thanks again for the positive feedback.

I would very much like to have an AGL instrument available.
