Wish I had your problem -- the tenacious suction mount. Mine falls off the window a LOT!

Any ideas on how to replicate the sticky suction cup? I have cleaned the dust off of it.

Do you have the same mount? If not, "they" sell super sticky pads that are designed to lay on the dash and keep your phone from sliding around. The new suction cups seem to be made of something similar. Perhaps you could stick one to the windshield/window, and stick the suction cup to the pad.

Thanks, I will get a sticky pad and try that.

You also can maintain a good connection by applying a gel designed for sealing high voltage spark plug wires.

It is designed to be compatible with rubber or plastic materials. It isn't an adhesive, it merely gives a great air seal between the suction cup and the surface that it is attached to. It's also easily removed, just break the suction seal. This stuff is available at most automotive supply stores in small tubes for a few dollars. Simply smear a tiny amount around the outer rim where the cup touches the mounting surface.

I use this stuff on my iFly and it helps maintain an excellent seal.

Thanks Jim.

I will go get some today!

Jeff, I think the suction cup holder is the same for 740 and 700 but. I am not sure of that.

I have a cheapo cell phone suction cup which is much more secure on my windshield but the holder for the phone is not compatible with the IFLY
