At least on the Android version, if you tap the moving map in the area "off the page", it'll switch maps. (Can't remember if the 720 currently behaves that way, but presumably it will be when AP finishes converging the code for all three platforms.)

Cobra,

Correct the 700 / 520 / 720 all should switch charts when you touch in the blank area off the current chart. That essentially activates that next Chart. When in flight it will switch automatically, and you can even touch "Switch Maps" to switch it earlier if you like.

Seamless charts is coming and will eliminate seeing that border area as you approach it. It will also have an option to show Border Details, so you won't miss any of those important details. The border data will be shown "On Demand". I hope this helps.

Thanks for including the option to see the borders, I do like having access the legend which is not an option on other apps.

I'm lateto join the discussion, but I'd like to say that I'm looking to start using iFly, if it used seemless charts that would be a non-starter for me.

The boundary of the charts contains some crucial information - for example, what time(s) is that restricted area active? What alititude is it? What is the frequency to call for that? All of these are found at the edge of the chart. If you can't access it from iFly, you'd better always carry a paper backup. For me, at least, not carrying that backup is the whole point here.

I understand your point, and I admit that now that Dynon has added charts to the Skyview I do not use my iFly very often (it is still on as it is panel mounted), but doesn't the iFly have this info in the database - i.e. select the airspace and open a window with all of the info you are seeking..?
