Since you seem new to the forum, you might not know that you can hold two fingers down to get distance between two points.
Also, if you touch with one finger and hold, a distance ring pops up showing your position from ownship to center of screen.
And, of course, there are optional Range rings in the map setting. (Fixed or Dynamic.)
