Since iFly tries to maintain compatibility across platforms, I expect it would work on the 740. Perhaps a bug?

The ruler feature has been available for a while now, but the azimuth feature seems new.

The 740 uses a resistive touch screen which can only detect one touch point at a time - the two finger touch gesture only works on tablets & phones. To measure on an iFly Device touch the screen once to get the Quick Info, touch "Nav", "More Options", then "Measure". Now the measure tool will be on the screen - you can touch and drag the end points of the tool to your hearts content. Tap the screen again to remove the measure tool.

The point I was trying to make is all mesurements, give you a distance from the plane position, it would be nice to be able to touch TWO points anywhere on the chart and get a distance, say from an airport to the beach or downtown for exemple, I have a 700 by the way and since my plane is not a "bubble top" I can live with It, I do miss the Wi-Fi "Thingie" a little.

In the Android version, you can touch any two points and get a distance. One of the points doesn't have to be own ship. See my third screen shot where I touch a VOR and a forest fire. (Own ship isn't in the picture.)

Mike you refer to how easy it would be to get Lat/Long using the Quick view. Which one are you referring to?
