Alex, I am building base lines for comparing power settings and streamlining changes for my C182A. the aircraft was rebuilt from a wreck, and isn't perfectly straight, and has no strut fairings nor wheel pants. I'll make one change at a time and document the effects on airspeed. My speeds so far are a little less than the book says they should be, but it's a starting point.

Hi Alex & Don - You two might be interested in looking at my aviation MS Excel spreadsheet. It has just about everything you will ever need when it comes to flying. Flight planning, flight tests (includes TAS/CAS), all E6B calculations, conversions, wt. & bal., sun rise/set, etc. If you are interested, drop me an email and I'll send you a copy. jimpilot1@gmail.com Jim Williams P.S. OldPilot - You might find this interesting too. It will show you why I keep asking for a spreadsheet app with the additional functions.

This is off topic.. But I'd be Curous to hear what difference the wheel pants make...if you ever put them on.
