That's great Shane. I flew today with 3 airplanes with Skyradar d2's, 2 iFly 720's, two of us are ADSB out and we all had WingX on our iPads.

The two of us with EFIS's had full traffic and weather displayed on them around Atlanta, traffiic and weather on all our iPads but none of us had any traffic displayed on the 720's. weather was displayed on the 720's.

Im really looking forward to see what your comparison shows. I don't feel it's a Skyradar issue since we are all getting traffic on everything but the 720's.

i guess I wondering why both your and Radena websites advertise compatibility with each other when its been obvious from all the posts on this forum that the traffic from the Skydarar qhas never worked.

Jerry: I am curious as to which brand ADS-B OUT transmitter units you and your buddy are using? ====Ralph

It would also be interesting to know if your EFIS is transmitting on 1090ES or 978. I suspect 978, but 1090 is possible. There is definately something going on here with the SkyRadar D model. We've asked them for a D model and/or some Testing logs and 1090ES data so we can get to the bottom of this. More to come.

I have a Trig TT31 transponder and James has a Trig TT22 remote mount in his plane.

Jerry: Thanks. I am considering buying an OUT transceiver and was curious. One thing I was thinking about regarding the discrepancy in traffic reporting is that the iFly manual says traffic is only displayed when it is within 5 NM and +/- 3,000 feet of your altitude. IF the applications running on the iPad or smart phones do not have such a filter then that COULD be one reason why the other apps are showing beaucoup traffic hits while the 720 is designed to be less cluttered by only displaying traffic in a smaller volume. In other words, there is nothing wrong with the 720 engine per se, perhaps it's more because of a difference in the software settings for display/alert criteria. Just guessing and thinking out loud. ====Ralph
