I have my iFly 740 mounted in the panel of my RV7. My question is: Will the echoUAT provide the traffic / weather data to the iFly740 with a direct wire connection?

Thanks

Bob Cartwright

I'm unsure if the Echo will have a serial out compatible with the 740.  But worst case, you could connect via WiFi, or you could buy the Ping for iFly, which is an awesome receiver.

Thanks, UAvionix is releasing some info now outlining their capability. Can you describe the format & baud rate that a wired connection to the iFly740 requires for the traffic & weather? Also if it would work, which pin on the usb to serial converter DB9 is used? Thanks, Bob
