The reason I couldn't reproduce 'b' is that I'm using v8.4, which is currently being Beta tested. Once this is released to production, everyone will have this fix. Sorry for my mixup.

FYI, 'c' is now fixed for 8.4 as well. When you select "Direct To" or create/load a flight plan, the instruments which display Flight Plan info/stats are now updated immediately (lag removed). Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
