Update your iFly SD card

For the iFly 520, 700, 720 and 740. Works in Chrome or Edge on a Windows PC or a Mac — there is nothing to install.

You will need: ✓ your iFly’s SD card ✓ a card slot or a USB card reader on this computer ✓ 20 to 60 minutes, depending on your internet speed

Put the SD card in this computer and choose it

Turn the iFly off. Press the SD card in gently and let go — it pops out. Make sure the small lock switch on the side of the card is unlocked (slid towards the top).
Put the card into this computer’s card slot, or into a USB card reader.
Click Choose my SD card below. In the window that opens, click This PC on the left, double-click the SD card (it is usually called something like USB Drive (D:), SD Card (D:) or Removable Disk (E:)), then click Select Folder. On a Mac, click the card under Locations, then click Open.
If the browser asks whether this page may edit files on the card, click Edit files (or Allow).

Your subscription

Optional

Type your iFly’s serial number. You will find it on the label on the back of the unit, and on the iFly itself under Setup → About. It starts with two letters, for example FM123456.

This puts a fresh copy of your license on the card, so a renewed subscription works straight away.

Chart quality: Standard High resolution (iFly 740 with a 16 GB or larger card)
