for 2 weeks I have been attempting to download the latest database and software .

I notice the statement on the page

"Network Status: We are currently experiencing longer than normal times for the Update Package generation process. We are promptly working to resolve issue."

I select my update package and see the bars ticking .After a half hour I click on the "click here " link to check the update status

So what happens ? It kicks me back to select the data and its back to square one .

is this the price of progress ? My ifly is worthless without the latest updates As a customer from early on I am very disappointed in this situation .

Having to repeatedly select the data to download every time the download fails is getting really old !

The only data that I can download is tfr data !

I did not have any issues doing the last update via iFly Connect. Great download speeds.

I ran into that one time before...

In the end I just used the PC Download, set multiple packages up, and transfered via an Thumbdrive.

It might work if you limit your selection through the 720???

ONE other trick is to Delete your WiFi connection in the 720, 'reboot' and reestablish the WiFi.

I am downloading ( trying to download) to a laptop

finally got the download started last night only to wake up and find the download stopped in the middle of the night .
I appreciate the help but after investing in an ifly 700,then 720 then android and giving up hours as a beta tester I expect better than to have to jump through hoops to get an update .

last month I could update my 720 in 10 minutes There is obviously something wrong with the servers at ifly .

so this morning I tried 3 times to download and no joy .

I find it interesting that right below the download instructions it offers you another option to get updates if you have download issues ...for a price !!

I just did mine and it took about 2 1/2 hours which backs up what Ed was saying...

If it were the iFly Servers, EVERYONE would have the same problem...

You need to stop trying to do it the same way. Try what Ed and I suggested using a Thumbdrive!
