I have the SD card in the computer now loading the new S/W and pictures now. Looks like I can fit everything including iFly Streets on the 8GB card, but it looks like it will be close. Will find out soon.

Everything fits on a 8GB card, with just over 200MB left over (including iFly Streets). I will probably delete states I will not likely visit. Now, just starting to play with it a bit this evening. Is there a list of airports that have photos? I will play more over the next few days and take a couple of flights.

Rich,

Alaska would be a great choice if you don't plan on going there. You could always add it for a trip later, if needed. As for the RealView Airports, there are about 12,600 of them, so almost all of them. We did clip out the mega airports like DFW, ATL, LAX as they have airport diagrams and a pilot should have no issue spotting those airports upon approach. They also are an enormous image size and would not fit well. We really didn't see the benefit of having these larger airports. In short, there should be a RealView image for about 98% of the airports in the US. Hope this helps.

Also, to get the images when updating, this should help. If you are using the Wi-Fi, you will need to update the Software and other items, as you won't seem the Airport Photos. Then run a second update and you'll see the photos, make sure they are checked.

For the initial 7.6.5 update, I recommend iFly Connect on your PC, it should allow you to update all in one shot, you will need to make sure the Airport Photos are selected for the states you want. If you want them all, just tap the deselect/all, the select/all, scroll to the bottom and ensure the Photos are checked.

Also, iFl Connect will take a fraction of the time to update than using the Wi-Fi, as your larger PC can chew on the data faster than the iFly. I hope this helps. SnF has been great, looking forward to getting back to the office.
