I just flew with my unit this past Saturday to a local fly-in and I had a "no-lock" situation for a little while on the way home but it was only about five minutes. I don't know if the unit had not had time to set up properly or what but once it locked I didn't have any further problems.

I returned the Sennheiser headset to the supplier (for other reasons) so I am unable to repeat the steps and see if the headset was the problem, but who knows...maybe that was the issue.
