With the new solfware does it show the aircraft on app. plate?

Did a GPS RW 18 at KMAI yesterday and the aircraft position was 1 1/2 to 2 nm off from GNS 430. Is this normal?

No, that is not normal. I checked the georeferencing for that plate and it looks perfect. See attached screen shot; I'm overlaying a couple of runways and fixes, they are spot on. How were you determining it was off?

I was flying the approach using my GNS430W and observing my iFly at the same time. I'm flying this weekend and I'll be able to check it again and report back next week. It might be the Garmin was auto-zooming quicker than I realized and my estimate of the difference between the two was amplified.

Thanks, Bill

Flew GPS approach at KCTY this weekend and all fixes for the iFly700 matched the GNS430W exactly. Think I wasn't interpreting system wrong last week.

Thanks for this upgrade, I really like it! Sorry for my confusion last week.
