Backup of Custom Locations?

I would like to back up my custom locations but could not locate the file on the SD card. Is there a way to do this or is the info buried and not accessible for backup?

Custom Locations, Flight Plans, Customizable Settings, Flight Logs, etc, are all in the \User folder on your SD card. You can copy this entire folder to your computer if you desire to backup this information.

Can you backup to the files to a USB drive plugged into the iFly?

If so, can you describe the steps to backup this information? Sorry, I could not find it.....

Or do you simply pull the SD card and plug it into your PC?

It has to be done from your PC. The specific steps will be different based on your computer type, operating system, os version, etc. For folks not familiar with how to access data on an SD card I probably wouldn't recommend doing this. The card is not read-only, so it's possible (easy?) to accidentally delete important stuff which would cause your iFly to stop working.

We have a feature on the wishlist would do what you suggest: Put a thumb drive in the iFly and select a "Backup" option (of course we would have a "Restore" option as well).
