I contacted Steve at openflight solutions and he responded with the following. Apparently, this was a known problem and the "fix" will be published next week.

Thanks for the report. We have an update that will fix this. We're testing the update this week and will most likely publish it some time early next week. If you're going to be flying this weekend and would like to be a beta tester, please let me know and I can hook you up.
