My iFly (19 months old) has taken to shutting off whenever I remove the power connector (or shut external power off). No warning message, just off right now. Doesn't do it every time, but most of the time. Plus I cannot get it to turn on unless it is connected to external power. The little battery charge indicator shows a full battery.

And, yes, I checked that the little bat switch is in the "on" position.

Other than this little issue, everything works great. I love the continuous improvement you guys are doing!

Never mind.

If it is a loose connection, it would have to be inside the unit. Since the battery connection is inside the unit, I have no idea how to test it except to take the unit apart.

I am an electrical engineer so I would certainly do so, but I want the iFly people to chime in before I start disassembling the unit. ;-)

Which is why I said that I would wait for them to chime in before doing anything to the unit...
