Walter / Shane,

I found some very interesting hardware for attitude sensing. Check out http://www.chrobotics.com/shop/gp9-ahrs

One of these units support NMEA sentences, while their high end unit sends out binary data. Do you know if this type of unit would work with the iFly? It appears they also have a usb interface available.

Don, we have not added support for that unit. But we do support the AHRS G-micro which is an industry proven solution, doesn't require a GPS lock to work, and the refresh rate is dramatically better.

Nice - I hadn't looked at that unit very closely before. It also has air data support that I don't think the one I was looking at included. Does the iFly use the pitot and static information? Imagine a full EFIS display (ala GRT or Dynon) on an iFly.... seems like all of the hardware pieces are in place.
