Is there any work going on for next generation of iFly. It would be nice to have a screen that's a little more stable and the unit with a little more tolerance to high and low temperatures.

I use my 720 as the primary navigator and to steer my autopilot in the panel of my RV-7. It's a VFR only operation.

I really like the unit except the above.

thanks

Bob

Shane,

THanks, I'm very interested,I'll call tomorrow. You should have gotten my 720 this evening (2/25). RMA 8664. I remove it from the RV-7 panel when the weather's this cold because I've had problems in the past. In any event I put it in a chair, forgot, and sat on it. I cracked the screen and sent it in for repair. Anyway what you're describing is what I think I want. I probably won't respond to any comments/questions about sitting on it ! ? ;(

Bob,

Awesome, call me and I can work something out with you on a trade or the repair of your 720 in conjunction with a new 740. I think you will really like the new 740. The 720 was a solid upgrade from the 700, but the new 740 really is a double upgrade. The performance is awesome and the screen is amazingly bright, even the off angle brightness is substantially increase. Throught the emergency battery in and we have a home-run ready for flying season.

No worries about the mishap, it happens to us all. The good this is we will work with you to put it all in the past. Look forward to talking with you soon.
