Suddenly, I'm getting terrain alerts after a year + of not having them. I have "Enable Collision Alerts" de-selected. I prefer no terrain alerts at all. Any help? Thanks.

Shameless bump here trying to get an answer. As far as I can tell, I should be getting NO terrain warnings whatsoever. That is what I had before. But now, it is driving me nuts.

Me too. I fly helicopters (meaning I am usually 500-1000') and the last couple of flights had to shut iFly off because of the terrain alerts blaring every few seconds. I hope this gets fixed quickly.

So it's not me? Thanks. It is also bad for seaplanes....rarely at airports, always low.

Please fix this or tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Chuck,

Can you check the software version? The latest is 8.4.79. I just tested this and not a peep. Turning off Terrain Alerts will not affect Airspace or Traffic. You'll still get the Airport Zone alerts telling you alert is reduce or enabled, unless you set Terrain and Traffic alert to disabled. You might try setting to another setting and then disabling it again. It might have got crossed in an update.
