Just got my iFly 720 yesterday and my initial impression is that the sunlight legibility is far better than any previous tablet I've used! However, the screen, although bright and legible, still is somewhat reflective.

Is there an anti-reflective screen protector recommended for the 720? Or, would use of one degrade the touchscreen functionaltiy?

P.S.: This company has phenomenal customer service!

Oops! Just perused the "Accessories" section and see you sell a BodyGardz protector!

But, does it significantly degrade the touchscreen funtionality?

Thanks,

John

John,

When we were looking at screen protector options, we test many options and the HD Screenguard from BodyGuard gave the best results. It has minimal effect on the touch sensitivity and the glare reduction was the best we found. It reduces the reflections and glare with the least amount of white-out. Plus, it is very durable compared to others like 3M and major brands. The BodyGaurd brand has millions of these in the market for mobile devices and they are a tried and true brand. I hope this helps. I think you'd be happy with it.

A while back when I first got my 720 I requested user feedback on folks using the screen protector and did not get any response. I felt the visibility of the screen in direct sunlight was good as is, and past experience with these as they tend to dim the screen a bit. Any user comments out there?

Rich,

I think the sunlight visibility is good as-is, it's just that the reflections are a bit annoying ... but not as bad as my previous tablet! I ordered the Screenguardz protector today and I'll follow up with a PIREP. I fly a Zenith STOL CH750, and while a high-wing, it has so much glass and overhead window that it is similar to a canopied aircraft as far as light and reflection problems.
