I'm running iFly 9.4.68 on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S using stock Android. While flying using the Stratux ADSB input I saw two different styles of airborne traffic indicatiors, the usual delta shaped icons and a new icon, a yellow square.

Any suggestions on what the icon means?

BTW, my co-pilot saw it first and commented on it, so it's been verified by two sets of eyeballs.

There should be a Arrow and a Square (on 45). This is for the Type, then Aqua, Yellow and Red are used for proximity alerts or reference.

The Arrow is pointing the direction it is tracking. You will also see a velocity vector coming off the front. That is a projection of where it will be in 60 seconds. See below:

and the Square (on 45) is for non-directional. This is typically used to show that a direction is either not reported in the ADS-B feed, or it cannot be determined... Hovering, etc. See below:

Colors are basically spelled out below: (Defualt Setting)

Brown = Ground Traffic
Aqua = Over 10nm away
Yellow = Under 10nm, but more that 2nm.
Red = Under 2nm away.

And be advised that even tho the target is at the center of the diamond, it is not at the center of the delta. (It's at the forward tip.) Some have said that the latter is a small distinction. Maybe so. But I find it important to know, especially for determining when traffic has passed. Or not.

And in 9.4, to help signify/clarify this detail, the quick draw mode for aircraft now shows a green dot at the exact location for their reported position. You can see this when you tap/hold on the screen.
