I updated my 720 today and was experimenting with the new features. I selected portrait mode, it requested a reboot, it now boots to the main menu, but when I select Navigation it locks up. I can't get back in to change it back to landscape.

Looking for recommendations. Is there a reset function?

I am glad that I have no flights in my near future... (annual).

Eric,

Give us a call in the office. We need to know some details and we can also walk you through how to default the settings back to stock. Call and select for the Support or if you and iFly Owner. Sorry for your troubles, we'll get your problem resolved.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I did eventually resolve the issue last night. Even though I had no display, I could hear the unit clicking when I touched the screen. I continued to click in the area I thought the main menu button should be, I eventually got a menu and reset it to landscape mode.

So, I don't have an acute issue now, but am reluctant to try the portrait mode again.

That is good to hear. Keep us posted. We could also setup a new Setting file for you so that they are back to stock. This might resolve your issue.

Have you customized any of the files on the SD card, ie airplane icon? This can cause problems, don't change these files. It would also be nice to know you Serial Number (back of unit), Software Version (7.5.18 likely) and OS (1.0.x.x) in the Setup and Information page.
