I want to create a waypoint that is EXACTLY on a straight segment of an existing flight plan course. It sounds simple - just touch a point on the course line and add new waypoint.

Only every time I try to touch the course line it picks a point slightly off of the line. I do not want to create a course change at the way point. I want to pick a point exactly on the straight line to check flight progress. I've tried zooming to max. and then picking a point and it still picks a point slightly off of the existing course line.

Appreciate any help,
Gary

Gary, try switching to Vector Mode then zooming all the way in. In that mode a few pixels off the course line should be an irrelevant amount of deviation.
