Hi All,

I just purchased my iFly 720 and was wondering which viersion of skyradar is providing the best value.

The skyradar L goes for $599 but does WX only.

The Skyradar S2 is $749, has WX and traffic on 978 MHZ.

Skyradar D2 is $849 and has WX and traffic on 978 MHZ and 1090 MHZ.

From what I am reading it doesn't seem the iFly 720 is very useful for traffic avoidance.

Which version are any of you using and are you happy with it. I hate to spend $849 for the same level of satisfaction as I would get for $599.00. I would already have an ADBS receiver but I'm still not sure which one is the best value for my dollar.

Thanks for the feedback on the WX Dinshaw. I like your point about the possible need to upgrade later also. I noticed when I posted that theprice of the D2 also dropped. I think I have made my mind up and will opt for the D2. I will post later when I get it to let others know how I think it is performing.
