Set the screen orientation how you want on your device before opening up iFly - if you want portrait or landscape - and then open the app in that mode. It'll open then, and you can do the dual view efis/map

Hi Brolin.  Alasdair already indicated he knows about the split EFIS/map mode.

What the OP asked for is a split screen of map & flight-plan. 

What I and others have asked for is a generalized split screen mode where you can choose whatever you want in either half.
