Stratus II

Please refresh my memory, will Stratus work on the IFly 740? Someone gave me a Stratus 2, but I don't have a clue about its working. The manual only mentioned IPads with Foreflight. Thnaks for any info.

I re-read your post and noticed you said Stratus II(2) not III(3). The 2 is locked-down to ForeFlight only and will probably remain as such forever due to contractual obligations. FF moved their exclusive arrangement over to uAvionix and the Scout, so now the 3 is open to everyone, but the previous models remain locked down.

I thought I heard, or saw, somewhere (perhaps Airventure/OSH) that the Stratus 2 can be traded in for a $200 credit towards a Stratus 3. Might be worth a call to Stratus/Appareo.
