Hi, my name is Paul and I'm relatively new to iFly. I'm considering the 740b for a build coming up and I've been playing with both the iphone app and the simulator via the online version for Windows. I have used the Garmin 660 prior and it has a nice automatic logbook that showed each flight, length, airports, etc. I can't seem to find that feature within iFly. Does it exist? It was very handy in keeping my paper logbook current and accurate by automatically logging each flight once I lifted off. I could check it every few flights and take a photo so that when I got home, I could write them in my actual logbook.

Thanks,

Paul

I'm almost certain that iFly does not have a log book function.  It does have a flight time recorder of sorts.  You can add an instrument that will count the H:M:S of time that your plane is travelling above a threshold speed (15, or perhaps 40 kts?)  You could take a picture of that.  I don't use the feature, but here's a composite screenshot of the Fft Duration instrument, and the choices if you click on, or tap the instrument.

You can also use the History button, which will show flight time, and show your route on the chart.

Maybe I've simply overlooked it. Can you tell me where the History button is located?

Bottom of the screen, right side, between the Sketch, and Inst Group buttons
