I am reading posts that suggest that there are people already using the synthetic vision. I have looked all over your site and tried to update my device to download the synthetic vision software. However, no joy! Is it available to iFly subscription users with 740 or iPad's? If not, when will it be available and will it be an independent download?

I think if this product is as flexible and user friendly as the videos are showing you may put ForeFlight right out of business or at least cripple their ability to gain a new customer base. Your GPS software is the simplest of any GPS programs I have used over the last decade. If your Synthetic is as user friendly as current software you'll set the benchmark for all others, including Garmin to try and match.

One last comment your customer support has always remained outstanding. Don't ever let that laps, I believe it is the foundation of your customer base. Tell JJ he is doing a great job!

On a side note I would love to see your company pare up with a Communications (Radio trans/com) company and develop  a unit like the Garmin 650 or the Avidyne 540. Moving map with communications all in one package. The industry needs an experimental GPS/Com manufacture?

UH

I have been experimenting with the new Synth Vis on my Android Tablet and phone since it was released. You will have to play with it since there is currently little documentation to show how to use it. I am slowly catching on.

I think the release for i products is schedueled soon after Sun N Fun.

You are correct on the user-friendly properties of this software.

IFLY gave us this new feature at no upgrade charge which is amazing in today's business atmosphere.

You may not get much in response for a while since they are probably manning a booth at Sun N Fun.

Where did you get the software? How can I find it and download it? I want to use it on my iPad as I already have iFly GPS software on the unit.

It is part of the latest version of iFly GPS.  Click Map Mode and there it is.

Just went to the Android Play Store and downloaded the latest version - very simple to download and pull up.

Just went to MAPS and found the synthetic vision block and checked it -  EFIS. Pops right up - then you can decide if you want it on the entire screen or split the screen.

Very nice!  I've flown with it and it's a lot of fun to learn all about it.  You can turn on/off many functions on the SV page - excellent!
