I've not used my IFly 720 for over a year and brought it out of retirement for an upcoming flight. I renewed my VFR subscription for a year and promptly built a download package for installation via USB (WiFi bombs too often for big stuff as I remember). When I tried to update my IFly I got an Invalid License message. Did I download the package too soon after resubscribing?

Hi Bill, welcome back.

Are you getting that error when you try and apply the update? If so, that probably means the account you used to create the update package is associated with a different iFly. We can fix this...if will shoot an email to support@adventurepilot.com with your serial number, login name, etc, we will get it fixed. (I wouldn't post that info on the forum)

By the way, you should look into iFly Connect - it's a super easy way to update your iFly.

Will do. I am trying to update the second of two IFlys I have purchased so it is highly likely my latest subscription is associated with the wrong IFly.

Sounds good. By the way, we have a Multi-Platform option now which, for an additional $20, let's you share your subscription across both your iFlys (you can also add an iPad or Android to that subscription). If you have 2 subscriptions you should switch to this plan instead. Chat with our support desk about that too.
