I have a 740 and really enjoy having it in the cockpit. I have a lot of other toys so I use the iFly primarily as a mapping tool, ADSB traffic and weather, and airport information source. Accordingly I rarely put flight plans into the 740 since that info is displayed on my EFIS etc. With this in mind I'm wondering if perhaps some screen navigation changes might be considered.
1. When in vector mode, the "plates" button doesn't show until I have previously looked at a chart. Not a big issue, but I'd like that button to always be available.
2. When I tap the "Plates" button a plate option screen comes up. When I tap "more plates", I get another window that allows me to select "near" me or "seach by code". When I hit "near me" I get a screen with 5 airports to select. If none of these are the ones I want I hit "close". - And then I have to start all over again!! Obviously a lot of screens to go through.. How about including a "back" button and "search by code" button on each of these secondary screens?
