Me too, same version & date. So I deleted all my charts, force-refreshed the database, re-downloaded all the (hi-res) charts again, then tried the chart selection button. Still doesn't work right. So I stopped iFly, and restarted -- didn't fix it.
But it's weird: I did get it to display the "natural" & "forced" appelations. But just a couple times out of tens of attempts. What happened is I put it in TAC mode, and that didn't do it, but then I changed the zoom level and checked again, and there they were ("forced" and "natural"). After many, many more attempts I got it to do it again -- once.
I can get it to work right more often when working around SLC (vs. SEA). But it's still inconsistent. And it still mis-reports that Sectional is selected even if TAC is the selected chart.
If you have a consistent step-by-step then let me know so I can try the same thing. Also let me know your zoom levels at each step.
Anyway, I would think that if I'm zoomed way in and I have previously selected Sectional it should report (when I click on the button) that TAC is natural and Sectional is forced. And if I'm zoomed out to a reasonable Sectional level and I have previously selected TAC, it should report that Sectional is natural and TAC is forced. Consistently. Furthermore, it should not ever report that Sectional is the selection when I have just selected TAC and then immediately pressed the button again. It does however report the selection correctly if Sectional or WAC were the ones selected. Though it's still not saying natural or forced for those either on a consistent basis.
But if it's working right for others then there's something screwed up on my Windows machine.
