Three airplanes I fly, 1948 Cessna 140, 1953 Cessna 180 and 1940 PT-17 all use MPH. The manuals all reference MPH.

Most vintage aircraft use MPH, I believe.

Charts vs maps. MPH vs knots.

Agree.  The original thread was a bug report in a different forum and then it got posted here without context, then devolved into knots vs mph.

Or... we could get into taildraggers vs tricycle gear, or low-wing vs high-wing wink
