How do I get synthetic vision to work in the app? Looking for a way to turn it on.

To activate the EFIS on my iFly, I press the Map Mode button (Main screen/lower left), then select the EFIS check-box at the top. The gear symbol to the right of the check-box allows you to fine-tune the EFIS options. As I haven't used the app on a phone/tablet, I'm not sure if these instructions are exact.

In addition to what Andre said, you can add "3D View" in Inst Group > Customize > Add Instrument.

And then you can add other instruments to the EFIS views--they're individually customizable.

I've tried to see what it would be like to actually LAND using SV, or at least get on short final -- still working it -- not sure I am using all the right settings, but I am getting closer...

Not to worry - I am doing this in day VMC and clearing visually, on the radio and using adsb while doing so...just safely experimenting.

There will come a day where this SV will get so good folks WILL be able to land 0/0 with it in hard IMC.
