Do you have any other Wi-fi networks set up on your 720?  I don't know what the behavior is like with the most current firmware, but in the past there have been issues where previously-defined networks were "messing up" connecitions to other networks.  You could try deleting all the networks with "(Pre)" in the name, and see if it connects to your Stratux then.  If still no joy, try deleting the Stratux "(Pre)" network also, and then set it up again from scratch.

I adjusted my usage of the 720 a long time ago to only let it connect to the wi-fi in the plane to avoid that hassle.  On the ground, if I want to update it, I pull the SD card out and use the iFly Connect app on my laptop.  Faster that way, anyway.

Menu>Exit Application>Run in Background>Settings (Lower Right)>Network (Lower Right again)>

WiFi Status: Should be whatever network the iFly is connected to.

WiFi Network: Should be all the networks that your iFly will attempt to connect to.  This includes networks you have, at one time or another connected to (Those with a (Pre)), as well as any that are within range.

If Stratux is not in the WiFi Status box, and you can find it in the WiFi Network list, touch it and iFly should attempt to connect.

Once you're on the correct network, "X" out of the WiFi Network Setup, "X" out of the Settings Page, Touch iFly GPS (Upper Left).

You should now be back at the iFly navigation screen.

Also check that you have a properly rated power cable between the battery and the Stratux. If you have bought a power cable from a conveinence store, it is probably not rated for the proper Volts/Amps. I have run into this in the past where the power cable from the battery did not provide enough juice for the Stratux to power the WiFi Radio. The lights on the Stratux were on and properly flashing, however the blue light on the WiFiRadio was not lit up (Some WiFi Radios may or may not have lights on them). Once I found a power cabe that worked properly, I left it connected to the Stratux and only disconnect the battery to charge it at the house.
