I just discovered that the targets I see on the EFIS screen actually show the navigation light colors of the targets.

If they are going away from your you see the white tail light. If they are coming head on you see the wing nave lights red and green.

Am I the only slow one to discover this?

I personally think it's good for people to post features they've ferreted out, even if they might have been pointed out elsewhere.  That just brings more cool things out into the open, since not everyone is reading every post.  I don't know if this very nice feature you pointed out is documented yet, and I'm sure it's not well known yet.  It was pointed out in an earlier thread (https://www.iflygps.com/Support/Forum...404/scope/posts ), but that poster had been using Synth Vision for awhile.

John,

YES, have seen many - posted a few photos a few weeks ago of planes coming and going - being behind, above and nose-to-nose...

Just flew into DULLES INTL Airport and had a screen full of targets!  This was very helpful in that situation!

In the above photo, you can see a plane flying just below my intended flight path to DULLES Airport...he is GREEN meaning if I am going south, then I see the RIGHT side of his aircraft (starboard) as he is flying to the west...helpful. BTW, I did not see him visually!

And there is one going the OTHER way!

OK John, here are MULTIPLE TARGETS in front of me - amazing how much traffic there is near Dulles!  My first and last flight into Dulles!

Just went to visit the Smithsonian Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum - it was terrific!

OK, can you guys find ALL SIX targets out ahead of me on the synthetic vision display?

Here is how that looks on a 2D screen - still pretty alarming -- but IFLY helps me navigate the P-40/400 Presidential area, the SFRA, the Class D near AOPA, and the FRZ in addition to the Class B for Dulles....all good!  Thanks IFly!!!
