You are welcomed.  If you have your iPad at home, you can go ahead and download the latest Stratux file you will need.

The iFly app now has calibration for both the Stratux and the iFly app.

Interesting. So it directly accesses the Stratux system? Or just tells iFly that whatever Stratux shows right now is straight and level? I asked that question - whether the calibration feature in an EFB is sufficient - in a Stratux group and the generally agreed answer was no.

Sounds like something to experiment with. Calibrate Stratux in Stratux. Do the same in the EFB to align. Then move the Stratux to a different position to "misalign" it. Recalibrate in the EFB and check the Stratux app to see if it changed there as well.

iFly will send a command to the Stratux to calibrate the Stratux to level. iFly can also calibrate itself.

Thanks. I'll check that out.

Mike, you don't need the new chip or a card reader. Install the AHRS device and plug in the fan. Then connect your iPad to the Stratux and using your browser, go to 192.168.10.1 and see the Stratux program. There you can update your Stratux software to the latest version. You will first need to download it from the website I posted previously in this thread.

Go here to download the latest file to your iPad while logged onto your router.

True. This is one of those "different strokes" things, personally, I've found it much easier to pop the card out of  the Stratux and update it in my PC, but that may be because I'm so used to doing it with my camera, my phone, my car...

Michael:

Left Indiana, Pennsylvania for Southern California in 1960 and never looked back.

Miss the spring and the fall colors, but do not miss the winters.

We fly all year round.

Great photos of the IFLY SV. Can't wait to try it when it is released.

John
