Fuel Tank Switching Reminder

Don't think it's there yet so how about this Paradigm..

For those who need to switch tanks, and be reminded... How about a Flight Timer instrument. The user sets the desired frequency of the pop up.... Say 20 minutes. Maybe that's somehow linked to the FLT-Duration timer...

So in the background, once the Flight timer Instrument is activated, it monitors the Flt-Duration and at the desired frequency a small pop up box appears, (small not large), saying maybe "Fuel Check" and then a quick tap resets the monitoring sequence and makes the pop up disappear... We don't want to say change because that's up to the PIC, we just want to say check...

The pop up helps those of us who forget....

I'll add my support to this request - much like my much earlier post requesting the ability to create a user defined action point - something/some place/some time along my route for an action to take place. This is another good example of the feature I'm hoping for.

Good idea for those of us with two tanks and no "Both" position on the fuel selector.

It's on the Wishlist. We'll discuss again in our next development meeting. It was last discussed as a user settable Switch Tanks, Refuel, Time/Distand reminder alert combo. Just did not make the cut for v9.4. Thanks for the feedback.
