GRT now has bluetooth integration on all of their EFIS units so you can link them with their app. I would really love to be able to put a flight plan on my tablet running Ifly and upload the flight plan to the EFIS. Loading the plan on the EFIS itself is not very easy, not to mention the fact that I have already loaded it on the Ifly and not doing it twice would be great.

I imagine that many EFIS units have the same issue of being very clunky with the input of waypoints since they normally have a limited selection of buttons and rotary knobs, but now that I am adding the autopilot servos I need to do it. On the GRT I almost never put in routes because it takes forever to select the waypoints. Another big problem I have is that there are a lot of restricted areas, ocean, etc. here that I need to navigate around so often my waypoints are some arbitrary location on the edge of a restricted area, not an actual airport, navaid, or other location I can pull up from the database. Very easy to pick those points on the Ifly, not so much on the EFIS.
